LUKIS armchair

The Lukis armchair was an experiment  using small rattan cores for structures that are bent through the main frame and then stacked on top of each other  resulting in very rigid construction. The Lukis also displays the unique character of the wood with the detailing at the joints using the lathetechniques.  The spare line of the Lukis is possible because of the wood which, unlike rattan, needs less material for structural support.
